Domestic Travel Flights

Our pups travel really well - we do lots of early work and our pups has always travelled confidently and settled very quickly into their new homes. Usually we use Jet Pets, but with Covid timing issues, we have changed to booking directly with the airlines, and pups are still flying interstate with a bit more juggling of times and schedules than usual.

The costs of domestic flights are $280 to Melbourne and $260 to Sydney plus a PP30 crate (yours to keep) at $85.

Domestic Travel Road

Road travel takes longer, but pups travel really really well, and Dog Movers look after them beautifully. They travel in large, air conditioned spaces, and are regularly taken out for meals and a leg stretch. Dog Movers make sure that dogs are suitably vaccinated, and we have found that dogs travel really really well with them.

The cost of Dog Movers varies according to the destination but is just a little more than flying usually.

International

Very occasionally we have a dog required for therapy or assistance work overseas. We have found that the dogs travel very well, and settle as easily as they do with interstate travel. Australia is considered a very low risk (Category 1) country, as we dont have rabies. Therefore there is no quarantine required for most countries.

For international flights, costs vary with destination, and you will need to contact a transport company such as Jet Pets to organise international flights. We dont organise these as most of the required information comes from the purchasers end. Allow an additional $150 for the additional vaccination (C5). If a rabies vaccine is required, this is an additional $180. We charge board from 9 weeks until departure at $30 per day, including all food, worming, grooming, exercising, play sessions. Insurance is the responsibility of the purchaser. If you require early training this can be discussed as an extra.
